iPhoneユーザにとって音声認識がさりげなくホットな話題になっている近頃ですが、ここにきて音声認識の大御所から無料アプリが出ました。

iTunes Storeの米国のアカウントがないと手に入りません。

音声認識といっても、その方式などでいくつか大きく種類が分かれます。
このDragon Mobileは、自由発話の音声認識、つまり「しゃべって入力するワープロ」的な機能としてはかなり高い性能を持っています。
日本語版としては「ドラゴンスピーチ2005」という製品があるのですが、Windows XPまでしかサポートされていないのが残念なところ。
